Family Centred Practices Group was recently recognized as Canada’s First Behavioural Health Centre of Excellence. We spoke to RoundhouseRadio about what this means and how we’re helping our community. It’s very important to us that families who have children with autism receive the proper care and support. Through individualized programs, applied behaviour analysis, and best practices children can reach their full potential in social, academic, and family settings. We ensure the entire family is learning how to live the best possible life, our focus is on the family as a whole. As we celebrate autism awareness, we encourage everyone to ask questions, share what they know, and make an effort to understand the amazing abilities and unique qualities every one of us have.
