April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day
Every year on April 2nd, World Autism Awareness Day is recognized internationally to bring awareness and understanding to autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Organizations around the world, and individual efforts, help spread education, advance research, and reduce misconceptions about autism. Since its inception in 2007 at the United Nations, World Autism Awareness Day has brought people together to share treatment options, services, and support to the millions of children, adults, and families living with ASD. Here at FCPG, we constantly strive to improve the quality of life for the children we work with and their families. As Canada’s first Behavioural Health Centre of Excellence, we are committed to using the best practices in the field to ensure the highest quality and standards are met for each child to reach his or her full potential.
